Set on a traditional lot with front approach, the main level of this new house is arranged to separate the public front from the private rear. The connecting hallway is then transformed into a gallery to display the family’s collection of art and photography.
The contemporary exterior is conceived as two bent plates that come together to enclose the interior spaces and separate them from the neighboring side lots. The interior spaces feature a pop of color mixed with natural wood and stone textures to keep the feeling warm and welcoming.
